Based on a recent field research study prepared by the Youth Observatory team, titled:

(Motivations for the Emigration of Palestinian Scientific Talent and Their Relationship to Youth Characteristics: A Study of a Sample of Youth in the City of Ramallah)

This analysis outlines the study’s key findings, revealing that economic pressures are the primary driver of migration—compounded by a complex interplay of social, political, and cultural factors—alongside a growing personal willingness among young people to leave.
At the same time, the findings indicate that youth are aware of the impact migration has on society, even in the absence of realistic alternatives to curb the phenomenon.
The study also offers a set of recommendations to support efforts aimed at finding practical solutions to this issue.
